  • For assessment surveys: We will use information provided by User and collected by our assessment surveys to assess the maturity of User’s business, technology, and/or product development in order to determine eligibility for one of our programs and to market those opportunities to User. The User will receive an interactive spreadsheet tool by email after completing one of our assessment surveys. We will use this tool to monitor your future progress toward business, technology, and/or product development milestones in order to determine your eligibility for our future programs. We will also monitor your use of this tool for the purpose of improving the tool for future users.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices, and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information and data stored on our Site.

  • New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA): We will share User assessment information with NYSERDA, which is the principal supporter of Uptake Alliance.

  • Aggregated Demographic Information: We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any Personally Identifiable Information regarding Users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or to administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys, processing assessment information, processing payments, or supporting online chat. We may share your information with these third parties as needed for them to perform their functions. We will use contractual or other means to protect Personally Identifiable Information disclosed to such third parties.
